{"id":3518,"date":"2022-09-26T10:34:57","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T15:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tonybeshara.com\/blog\/?p=3518"},"modified":"2022-09-26T10:34:57","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T15:34:57","slug":"how-to-be-sensitive-to-the-other-party-for-interviewing-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tonybeshara.com\/blog\/how-to-be-sensitive-to-the-other-party-for-interviewing-success\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Be Sensitive to the Other Party for Interviewing Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone in an interviewing process needs to think about\u00a0what their questions sound like and how they come across to the other person.<\/p>\n<p>In this market, where the companies and the candidates are equally interviewing one another to discover if they are a good fit, being capable of answering effective questions in a respectful manner is key.<\/p>\n<p>I have heard appalling responses from both candidates and hiring authorities when asked effective questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Examples<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hiring authority <strong>refused<\/strong> to answer candidates question regarding why the position was vacant by stating, \u201cI prefer not to talk about it.\u201d Leaving the candidate with a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>red flag <\/strong><\/span>in regards to the company environment.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>On the other hand, a candidate <strong>refused<\/strong> to answer the hiring authorities question regarding a work experience and replied, \u201cI do not want to answer that but I have a question for you.\u201d Leaving the hiring authority confused and to <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">lose interest<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In my book, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Acing-Interview-Answer-Questions-That\/dp\/0814401619\/ref=pd_bxgy_sccl_1\/131-1603141-4680528?pd_rd_w=J4BOU&amp;content-id=amzn1.sym.7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&amp;pf_rd_p=7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&amp;pf_rd_r=DRK4HB29GSKVQV10E424&amp;pd_rd_wg=GWK63&amp;pd_rd_r=6d5d5ad0-90ab-43e7-b85c-3694a882d216&amp;pd_rd_i=0814401619&amp;psc=1\">Acing the Interview: How to Ask &amp;
