{"id":187,"date":"2010-11-28T22:34:55","date_gmt":"2010-11-29T03:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tonybeshara.com\/blog\/?p=187"},"modified":"2010-11-28T22:34:55","modified_gmt":"2010-11-29T03:34:55","slug":"way-to-go-steve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tonybeshara.com\/blog\/way-to-go-steve\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8230; Way to go, Steve"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Steve makes it through two interviews with a $30 million company and he has a final one with the CEO&#8230; he doesn&#8217;t do poorly, but he knows he didn&#8217;t hit it out of the park either&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The CEO calls and tells me he&#8217;s going to pass on Steve\u00a0&#8230; he loves his energy and aggressiveness but he doesn&#8217;t think Steve&#8217;s experience relates to what they do very well&#8230; when I tell this to Steve, he communicates that the CEO wasn&#8217;t paying attention during the interview&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steve decides he is not going to take &#8220;no&#8221; for an answer so he tells me he is going to go over to the CEO&#8217;s office and wait for him&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The next morning at 9 AM the CEO calls me and says, &#8220;this guy Steve I interviewed the other day is in my office&#8230; why?&#8221;&#8230; I tell\u00a0him\u00a0I have no idea&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>An hour and a half later, Steve calls and says he got the job&#8230; he explained to the CEO that he didn&#8217;t communicate very well why his experience was perfect for their company&#8230; way to go, Steve!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Steve makes it through two interviews with a $30 million [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>...
